I always feel privileged to receive one of David's poetry books. This latest one, L'Flaneur, with cover art by Cheryl Penn, is another fascinating collection. David's poetry never follows an obvious path. Instead, it drifts through unexpected images and ideas, inviting the reader to wander rather than search for a single meaning.
