beautiful pieces. one has two lovely haiku pieces by Basho(1644-1694) inspired by cicadas. and the second one is a waka poem by Yamabe no Akahito(AD700-736), from a classical Japanese anthology of one hundred poets compiled by Fujiwara no Teika (1162-1241). with the calligraphy and painting work by Tohei.
